How Does Whitening Work?
To get the pearly whites you see in TV commercials, we use a proven process that has worked with thousands of patients from downtown Memphis to Germantown, Collierville and everywhere in between. A hydrogen peroxide bleach is used to actually make the teeth whiter. We’ll have you come in for about 5 appointments over the course of several months, with your teeth getting a little whiter each time.
Do It Yourself
We know you have a busy schedule, and don’t have time to come see us every other day. No problem, we can give you your own personalized teeth whitening kit. In this case, we take an impression of your teeth, and create a custom bleaching tray for you to take home. We provide you with the bleaching gel to fill the tray and place over your teeth.
Don’t worry, it’s simple, and we will walk you through it every step of the way. We recommend doing this daily for 30 to 45 minutes, 4 to 6 weeks. Results become noticeable in the first week. It’s completely painless, and is a great way to whiten your teeth any time of day, whether you’re driving, in the office, or reading before bed. We’ll have you come in about every 2 weeks for a short appointment. Over time this is guaranteed to whiten your teeth to the desired color.
The Dental Office Procedure
Our cutting edge whitening techniques are guaranteed to have your teeth whiter with each visit. During in office visits we will cleanse, and isolate your teeth. Then Dr 
Boucek or Dr Brawner will apply a series of high powered bleaching gels to your teeth, every 15 minutes for one hour. We will also provide you with a bleaching tray (see DIY whitening – above). In office whitening will be done every 2 weeks for one to two months, depending on the nature of your specific case.
Along with our cosmetic dentistry procedures, you’ll want to be sure to brush at least twice and floss once, daily.
